St Patrick’s Purgatory – Lough Derg
Ireland’s most famous place of Pilgrimage, known throughout the whole of Europe in Medieval times, lies 5 miles north of Pettigo village. Each year between May and September thousands of people of all faiths travel to the Sanctuary of St Patrick at Lough Derg to experience the peace and solace of the sacred Island.
